Humans and Obsidian

Searching for Fragments of a Star

On the far side of the Eurasian continent, a small island lies there; the Japanese archipelago.
After a long journey humanity finally arrived at this land and came across a treasure that would help sustain their lives.
Obsidian was brought forth, created from the fire-breathing mountain.
Spears made from dazzling stone became the hunter’s method of protection, and razor-sharp knives promised the villager’s fertile land.
Searching for fragments of a star, people traced a path to the distant mountains of the central highlands.
A 30,000-year history had begun.
